Special Days
Celebrations that bring our community together
Grandparents Day
September 13th
Grandparents day is celebrated on the 13th of September every year. Students from classes I to V bring their grandparents along with them to school. As a school, we believe that celebrating this day would bring the young people closer to their grandparents and gift them good qualities and cherishing memories. The day starts with various programs like games and speeches by students followed by fun-filled activities for the grandparents.
Teachers Day
September 5th
The joyful learning space for students is achieved by the excellent teaching of our faculties. Annually, on the 5th of September, students have a chance to express their love, gratitude, and appreciation for their beloved teachers by organizing various events in the morning assembly. We honor and celebrate their dedicated contributions in the field of academics and well-being. We thank them for their efforts and years of delightful services.
Annual Day
March
The Annual Day is a celebration of students who have excelled across fields during the academic year and of the students who take to the stage to flex their talents. After weeks of hard practice, students of all classes stage different performances ranging from musical performances to plays in English and Tamil to dances. This is followed by the prize distribution ceremony for general proficiency winners, scripture, school toppers, and achievers in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Wood Apple
Annual
Wood Apple is the annual inter-school cultural fest conducted by the school. About a thousand participants from across 40 different schools throng into the campus for two days to participate in a slew of events ranging from quilling to storytelling for the juniors and mime to instrumental music for the seniors.
Sports Week
January/February
In order to truly celebrate sports and give the students time to revel and cheer for their school sports team, the traditional Sports Day has been extended to a Sports Week at our school. With nearly 50 events taking place over the course of a week, the atmosphere in the school is akin to a carnival. About 500 students are celebrated as winners at the end of Sports Week.
